Free Server/Security Site Audit

 

At Activ IT, we want you to see that we put our money where our mouth is, so we offer a free Server site audit (valued at $250.)

Why do we do this?

Simple we are always looking for new clients, and for us the first step in doing this is to show you a little of what we can do by coming in to do a Server/Security Audit.

This is a very painless process, where we will check the following things;

• What version of server software you are running, and if it is up to date (Microsoft Security Patches and Virus Updates/Spam Filters.) 
• The second check we make is on your back up procedures.  This entails checking backup logs, as well as testing for you, a simple file restore, to make sure that in case you need to, your files are actually able to be recoverable.  Believe it or not, we have come across situations where Backup Log says the backup is OK, only to find that when you go to restore a file there is a problem.
• Finally we check to make sure your server is not being used as a Spam gateway, and that all appropriate software is configured correctly.

 

After this is done one of our Technicians will sit down and outline what was found, as well as ask if there are any things you would like to be able to do, that you currently cannot do, e.g. Remote Email access, Remote Workplace options, Email sync with smart devices, such as phones or PDA’s.
